Admired as much for her performances on stage as for her deep musical skills, the pianist Anait Serekian completed higher musical education in the Yerevan State Superior Conservatory, where she was awarded piano, chamber music, accompaniment and teaching first prizes.
Then she attended advanced lessons, given by the great Russian piano Masters such as V.Merzhanov and L.Bermann at the Tchaikovski Superior Conservatory in Moscow.
Now, Anait Serekian’s career progresses through either recital or orchestra concerts or through “duo” with famous soloists (Philippe Pierlot, Michel Moragues, Shigenori Kudo, Francoise Pollet, Udo Reinemann…) or through her teaching at the CNSMD in Lyon and at the CNR in Toulon as a professor.
Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Lyon
Dès son arrivée en France, elle est admise brillamment au Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Lyon où elle obtient le 1er prix de piano (classe de Gery Moutier), ainsi que le 1er prix d’accompagnement au piano (classe de Michel Tranchant). De plus, elle a eu l’opportunité de bénéficier des conseils des maîtres français du piano tels que Roger Muraro, Dominique Merlet, Jean Claude Pennetier ou Yvonne Loriod.
Concerts and teaching
Her pianist career was equally developed thanks to her participation to numerous festivals such as “Les Nuits Pianistiques” in Aix-en-Provence, “Liszt in Provence”, “Les Piano-folies du Touquet”, “Les Nuits Musicales de Mazaugues” as a soloist with the Cannes PACA Orchestra, “Piano à Riom”, Opéra of Marseille, Festival “Autour d’un Piano” by the Château de Carrouges , “Musique dans les vignes”, “Autour du Piano” in Paris, Opéra of Toulon, or the Radio France Festival…
As a C.A. qualified piano professor and accompanist, Anait Serekian is also regularly invited to give concerts and Master Classes abroad such in Europe and Asia.
