Florence Belraouti

Pianist 
After beginning her musical studies at the Conservatoire de La Ciotat, Florence Belraouti trained in the various National Conservatories of the region with leading pianists and teachers: Odile Poisson, Pierre Barbizet (CNR de Marseille), Michel Bourdoncle (ENM d’Aix- en-Provence) and Jean-Luc André (ENM d’Avignon).
At the age of 10, she met Germaine Devèze in Paris, then Lucette Descaves and Eric Heidsieck, all three teachers at the Conservatoires Nationaux Supérieurs de Paris et Lyon. They passed on to her a musical and pianistic heritage typical of the French piano school.
After winning several prizes between 1985 and 1992 – gold medals with unanimous congratulations from the jury in piano and chamber music, advanced prizes, prizes for excellence and virtuosity (CNR Rueil-Malmaison) – she obtained the State Teaching Diploma in 1995, which led her to become a teacher, notably at the ENM in Aix-en-Provence. Her curiosity and her desire to improve her skills enabled her to be noticed and to join the master class sessions
Her curiosity and desire to improve enabled her to be noticed and to join the “Temps Forts-Musique” master-classes, thus receiving the advice of eminent pianists such as J.F. Heisser, P.L. Aymard, C.R. Alsina, F.R. Duchable. She also joined the “Piano Cantabile” association for young high-level pianists selected by Bernard d’Ascoli, a very talented pedagogue and concert performer, with whom she continued her development.
Florence Belraouti has performed in recitals and chamber music: Biarritz International Academy, series of recitals for Peace under the aegis of UNESCO, International Festival of Pianistic Nights, Music in the Street Festival, Humanitarian Actions Musique Fraternelle. She has also performed in concerto with orchestra, notably in the framework of the Festival International des Nuits Pianistiques: with the Orchestre de Cannes, conducted by W. Stiefel; the OLRAP, conducted by F.X. Bilger, S.Visconti, Yeruham Scharovsky ; the Marseille Orchestra, conducted by P. Bride.
Florence Belraouti holds a Certificate of Aptitude as a piano teacher and currently teaches at the CRR of Aix-en-Provence.
