Hélène Lucas studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, in the class of Dominique Merlet. She then worked with Angéline Pondepeyre at the Conservatoire National de Région de Rueil-Malmaison, with Suzy Bossard at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon, and obtained two first prizes unanimously. After teaching at the Conservatoire de Valence, she joined the Lyon Opera’s Lyric Workshop as a vocal conductor and then the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon. Today, she is the singing director and assistant to Françoise Pollet. Performing all over the world on prestigious stages such as the Berlin Philharmonic, she is a member of the faculty of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel.
