Hermine Forray graduated in 2000 from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique
After three years teaching piano and playing in public, she obtained in 2002 a diploma in musicology from the University of Paris, where she studied in the classes of Jacques Rouvier and Marie-Françoise Bucquet.
special prize at the 20th Century International Music Competition in Orléans, she decided to
to take care only of his children, Fanny, Lila and Romain, and for ten years gave them
all the time. This preference for full commitment was fostered by his training,
built on simple and lasting attachments: having learned piano with her father in Angers, France
where she was born in 1976, and where she studied at the conservatory with Joëlle Lemée until the
improvement, she was taught when she entered the Paris Conservatory,
for her decisive, from the pianist and composer Selman Ada, director of the Operas of Turkey.
She has been back at the keyboard since 2014, in Marseille where she lives, teaches, notably at the
conservatory, and plays, in recitals and with orchestra, on local or regional stages and
in mini-festivals that she hosts with other pianists.
Her first record, “Lumière et Méditerranée”, was released in 2019 on the Calliope label.
