Jean-Marc Luisada is trained by two professors, Marcel Ciampi and Denyse Rivière. He left for England where he attended the Yehudi Menuhin school. He continued his training at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Paris in Dominique Merlet’s piano class and Geneviève Joy-Dutilleux’s chamber music class. In 1983, he won the Dino Ciani competition at La Scala in Milan. In 1985, he won the Warsaw Chopin Competition, which propelled him onto the international scene. He made various recordings for major companies such as Deutsche Grammophon. He is regularly invited to participate in major festivals.
